The Independent Entertainment Alliance (IEA) is an organization for those working in entertainment on an “independent” level which will launch Jan 2010.
IEA is for the indie tv/film producers/directors/writers, theatre directors/producers/writers, new media companies, music producers/label owners/distribution companies; etc.
IEA Benefits:
Annual Conference
IEA members will meet annually to increase credibility, education, industry contacts and idea sharing

IEA members can compete for prizes in categories for indie film, tv, new media and theatre productions
Status Awards
Hollywood meets the Independent world. Annual Award show recognizing exceptional talent in music, tv/film, new media and theatre. Nominations/voting is done by IEA industry Partners
Learn & Network with the Best
The best in the industry have been asked to join IEA as an Industry Partner. Industry Partners will serve as the nominating/voting committee for the Status Awards as well as facilitating workshops, seminars, mentoring programs etc. Industry Partners are by invitation only and have been selected from the leaders in Music, Film, Theatre, TV and New Media.
Innaugural memberships will begin Oct. 1.
